300 Win Mag. It popped out perfectly this morning. Will trim the excess this evening. Need to see if I can find some longer screws local. Mag well frame may need to be filed. The front action screw overlaps the hole in the aluminum bedding block but the action hole is lined up perfectly in the bedding block hole. Other than that is is coming along nicely.
ETA spoke with Savage and Bell and Carlson today, with a little bit of back and forth with the second savage rep I spoke to I have the correct length screws on they way and they should be shipping out tomorrow! Kudos to Savage customer service for the help and the favor!
