Alright so as it stands at the moment I am looking to put scope mounts on and trying the 06 IF it shoots well I may keep it at this until accuracy goes away. Then May try 7mm-06. Thanks to all of you who have responded with great ideas and the reasons why. This has turned into a great forum in my opinion. Which we all know is just that. Ya'll have been great.

I'm a Lefty. I have a push feed win 70 XTR 06' RH I bought from the neighbor as a kid in 82. I'm going to put a new 26-27" pipe with a brake on it and it's staying in 06' I've got another, also in 06' . I have 2 Wilson 26" barrels, that's going 240 Weatherby Neither of these old New Haven push feeds have EVER Failed ️
The 06' is by what all other are JUGDED ️
