I've never had a scope off anywhere close to that either ,but I am out of ideas that's why I said in caps IF everything is entered correctly what else could it be I'm stumped and eagerly waiting the answer!I was thinking same but to be off 6-7 clicks is not something I have ever seen....that about 50% off. I have probably plugged numbers in for over a 100 rifles /scope/ ammo with all the Ballistics apps mentioned so far and they might be off but not anywhere close to 50%
Well it finally boils down to this IF everything is entered correctly check the tracking on your scope ,(BOX TEST) (TALL TARGET TEST)there are adjustments for this in many apps a.k.a.( scope correction factor)
Did you enter the correct measurement for the height of the scope above the bore? Is there a selection for metric that needs to be turned off?I've input my information numerous times, and nothing works. I was shooting a 6.5 Grendel today, 100gr Lapua scenar, 2780mv, zeroed at 100 yrds, 6x24x50 moa scope. At 300 yrds strelok said to come up 1.8 moa, and it was 5.5 inches low.
Can anyone help me out on a ballistic calculator that works correctly. I've tried half a dozen different one's, including Strelok, and none of them are even close to being correct. I've tried everything I know to get them to match the ballistics of my firearms, and they aren't even close. As much as 8"off at 300 yrds. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
First question...Do you have a 20MOA rings rail or .mount on your rifle? Can anyone help me out on a ballistic calculator that works correctly.
