There are more so many opinions on rifle scopes, and the passionate responses are ever present. It is tough to separate fact from fiction in this segment of our hobby. The objective measures of performance and attributes are often ignored in favor of justifying a personal purchase or position. Attributes such as weight, low light performance, reticle options, tracking/RTZ, country of origin and price are fairly easy to discern, but have a wide range of preferences by the individual. I personally can't imagine strapping a 2+ pound scope on a hunting rifle. I also can't imagine spending over $2k on a rifle scope that I will be banging around in the field chasing critters. To each their own, but that Trijicon checks a lot of boxes for me.
