Backcountry 3-15x optic?

Wrong. Try a google search if you want to know.
I have and I did again and I still choose to believe Bob Beck.

It's all a matter of your priorities. Whether you choose to completely boycott a company because they back someone or that person possibly broke the law maliciously is up to you. I personally think it's silly to boycott a company for their beliefs or actions and if you google some more you will be extremely hard put to find ANYONE or any company or anything that aligns completely with your beliefs or philosophy.

I choose to seek quality products and services and largely ignore political beliefs or imperfections in their employees or representatives.

If you take your philosophy further you will end up living off the grid in a cabin in the woods somewhere in the middle of nowhere wondering why you're so bitter and isolated.

Nobody is perfect and neither is any company or government agency. I pick my battles and have learned to forgive and have reasonable expectations.

Just one man's opinion.

Undoubtedly you didn't look too hard.

I would too, but cash is king and budget dictates compromise, at least for now.
If I could find a NXS 2.5-10 inside my budget I'd absolutely be making a magnification compromise.

So you are implying every scope is perfect?

Nope, I'm implying that most people shooting PRS or any comp are concerned about hitting their target and don't just look for sponsorships. The popular items seen at any given match are popular because they work not because they are free or cheap. Scopes are an oddity in that many people get wickedly brand loyal. They hear their buddies third cousin one time on a band camp safari had an issue with leupold and now they are convinced the brand is bad. I get that way a little with vortex. Way overhyped but the upper end vortex stuff is actually very good, I have a couple vortex shirts.......heh heh

There are more so many opinions on rifle scopes, and the passionate responses are ever present. It is tough to separate fact from fiction in this segment of our hobby. The objective measures of performance and attributes are often ignored in favor of justifying a personal purchase or position. Attributes such as weight, low light performance, reticle options, tracking/RTZ, country of origin and price are fairly easy to discern, but have a wide range of preferences by the individual. I personally can't imagine strapping a 2+ pound scope on a hunting rifle. I also can't imagine spending over $2k on a rifle scope that I will be banging around in the field chasing critters. To each their own, but that Trijicon checks a lot of boxes for me.

No kidding about the passionate nature of this conversation lol
Your last few sentences line up exactly with my own thoughts on the matter.
That Trijicon is looking better and better!

Yea the trijicons do seem to be very good. They have been tested on rokslide and they have held up very well. I would think a 3-18 tenmile fits your wants.
