Bears are starting to show up on cameras. Elk calves are on the ground and fawns are just starting to be born. This creates a lot more bear activity.

Hunt dates are October 18-22. The 18th is opening day for 2nd rifle season.

1st season is draw only. 2nd season is over the counter with unlimited tags. So, no issue with getting a tag for this particular hunt. Thanks.

Is the room private? What if my spouse (non hunter) wants to join me ? Not to hunt, but to the ranch. Is there areas for her to see during the day time ?

No problem having a non-hunting spouse join you. There is a guest fee for a non-hunter of $150 per night. All meals and lodging are included. Plenty to do during the day. Thanks.

Tags are either sex. Colorado non-resident tag is $604.

I saw reference to antler restrictions in unit 70. Does this interfere with hunting ?


Where I deer hunt locally, they just started with AR restrictions, and it's getting mixed reviews. Especially with people who have limited time in the woods.
