Arken Zulus ..You playing with one ?

Made a quick mod to the CZ and moved the alternate power over to the side of the stock ..
Mounted a 6" pic rail and routed a cable to the port on Zulus ...
Presto !! I can cycle that lil bolt without stuff in my way ....

Shipped to my door in Mi was $29.60 came extra fast
ordered 2 of the IR lens covers
2 short extension tubes with iris aperatures
2 high levers for focus bezel

I was just out in the sun playing with it ..
I will tell you this, the lever for these units is a MUST
it makes an incredible difference ...you are scanning and your
hand lays naturally against the left side of the rifle and your
fingers are right there on the lever ,,it's natural and effortless

get the high lever only ...

This makes using this scope so easy , compared to attempting to successfully
roll the round body ...as you focus which is constantly
as far as the extended shade ,,its nice Ill make a video tomorrow
covering all of these ...

I appreciate your sharing here. Looks like an amazing piece of kit - the scope - and the addons are right on. Question - did you try the short lever version first? The long lever looks like a snagging problem. Thx, Don

I did not ...I compared it to the height of the levels on my Arkens and stuck with that
High .. I tend to shoot from a Tripod , and I'm not crawling through brush etc
as I take my gear from the vehicle and walk open fields ...so snagging isnt an issue

The tall ones are perfect as my fingers are right there ,,,,its perfect ergo

I see Arken has a 3-12 Zulus but only available in England right now. I'm running an ATN 3-14 4K right now and the Arken12x would be more suited for my needs, ratting in the US.
I am trying to place an order for the 5-20R just to try, but their payment page is not working. Anyone else having that issue?

That's strange I have no issues ..
I think they have a 2 to 3 week. Lead time on those units, because they are selling like hot cakes

I have an email into Arken, hopefully, they get back to me before the discount expires.
The waiting for a backorder doesn't really bother me in this instant gratification world. Like I said I have the ATN that I'm running.

BTW, how is the IR performing? I prefer 940nm light, just my thinking.

That Lil 850 is amazing for the size..
Easily handles out to 300 yds so far
Is focus able and floods nicely

I have a hog sniper dedicated IR that mounts to my tripod for long stuff ..
