AR-10 bolt stop

I dug though my albums and found my *** bolt catches that were sold to me with my lower kits.

The tiny tip would NOT hold the bolt open on the last round or even if you tried to manually set the action open. I found these wider tips that work great.

The small bolt catch tip barely touches the Magpul magazine. You can see that it's actually in the wrong place to even work right.

that KAK bolt catch sure looks like an AR-15 bolt catch to me. The engagement tooth for the mag follower is in the wrong place, and yeah, too skinny to boot. The engagement tooth on my AR-10 bolt catches is wider than the one shown in your KAK. just for sh!ts n giggles, i mocked up a M5 lower with a mil-spec AR-15 bolt catch:

Ya, the AR15 bolt catch will sit inside, but will not function at all in the AR10's. Plus the catch (AR15) is to narrow width wise.

The great stuff you get with AR10 fire control kits. It did have everything else that worked.
