Any last minute words of advise, unit 27 Idaho

We are heading out from Florida tomorrow night to unit 27 Idaho. We will headed into the south end of 27 black bear hunting. Any have any last minute words of advise?

I'm assuming you're going in at Thunder Mt. as there are very few access points to this unit. Been there done that. South of Thunder Mt. there are lots of huckleberry growing in the forest and the area was full of bear scat during the middle of Sept. when I was there 2 years ago. Never did see one but they're there. Watch out for mining vehicles on the road in from Yellowpine. They're not very friendly to tourists.
