Definite he's a real good looker. Age guessing has always been a big problem for me. but i'll go with the 3 1/2. and maybe 4 - 41/2 with good minerals and food supply.

I mainly screenshot those so I could find the stand alone images later. I did so I can print them out poster size to put in the deer camp, so hopefully the kids will try to memorize it and put it to use in the field or make a game of it when we are out and about.

What is y'all take on this deer front shoulder blades? Old age?

Not necessarily "old age".
The shoulder blades of quadrupeds protrude upwardly as seen when feeding with head on the ground as this picture depicts.

With that thin neck and straight back I'd say probably 2.5, certainly not over 3.5
