Absolute best hunting scope for pure contrast, resolution, sharpness...

I would like to see a TT 420M, same size & Weight as the current 315M.
Please 🙏
Agreed!!! The short nature of the current 420 can make it a problem to mount on long actions, but I'd still take a lightweight ZCO420 for short actions. Tangent is coming out with a 4-20, but it sounds like the focus will be on the P series.

The ZCO 420 fits OK on a LA. I shot mine on my 28N for a while. But swapped over to a S&B PMII 3-20x50 MTC/LT.

But there are definitely some that do not.
NF NX8 2.5-20Ă—50
March FX 4.5-27Ă—52
S&B PMII 5-20x50US and 3-20Ă—50US

A little perspective, and he/they definitely know what they're doing.

To add, the Carl Zeiss Foundation which is the sole shareholder of Schott ag is the source for many/most of the top tier scopes/binoculars, the other being Japan.

Again, just for reference.

I'm confused? Here is my 3-20 PMII US on my long action Zeus, fits just fine.

You have a full rail which helps a lot. But you don't have any room to slide it back if needed. The 3-20Ă—50US has a LOT more mounting room than the 5-20Ă—50US does.
With split Picatinny rails, they barely fit on some SAs. I had to even swap rings from Seekins to Badger Ordinance when I moved it from a Lone Peak Fuzion to a Defiance AnTi X. The Fuzion has an extra cross slot F/R and a smaller SA ejector port than the AnTi X. And, I had to mill off the front of the Picatinny rail to get the ocular bell to clear. With a full Picatinny rail, would not have been a big deal. But it is definitely something you have to think about.

wow, that optics comparison is very eye-opening, to say the least.
