First off sorry for the topic, I really need some quick advice. Here is my problem. About a week ago I gave my rifle to a "gunsmith" in my neighborhood. All I wanted him to do was drill and tap the existing holes on my factory Rem 700 action to 8-40 threads. He said no problem. He broke off the tap on the last hole. Now he says he will take it to a guy that has a air drill and they will drill it out. He said if that doesn't work they will pull the barrel and then go in from the bottom. What will this do??!! I had the gun teflon coated by Black Ice Coatings a couple of years ago, other then a HS stock and a Basix trigger it is all factory. I must have gotten lucky because the gun shoots my handloads very well. How will this change my accuracy. What should I do????

Plus 1 on the EDM. Don't let him drill a hole in the bottom of the action. It shouldn't hurt the action but who wants an extra hole in the bottom of the action. EDM will electrically burn it out and hopefully save the hole.
