Do you hunt from home?

I'm a PA hunter. I can shoot Deer, Turkey, and Bear in my back yard. If I go to my buddies farm for deer/social season, it's 15-20 minutes. If I would ever get drawn for one of our Elk tags, I'll have to drive an hour. Im having some health problems right now, once we get that figured out I hope to do an Alaska trip while I still can. I can't complain, it's great hunting here and I hunt all private property. Most of the Elk are taken on State Game Lands. We are truly blessed with State lands here that are managed for game instead of profit.

I'm fortunate to live on 18 acres with multiple pastures. I turned one of them into a clover plot, and it has been a true joy take my kids hunting in our own backyard.

I shot an 8 pointer off my back porch 2 years ago while wearing gym shorts and a tee shirt on a warm November afternoon. Who needs camo???

I can see the day when the only way you can hunt is by owning land.

Kids and I hunt deer from home. Had few decent bucks this afternoon but had to work tonight so they got a pass…for now

I could Up to 6 years ago, one bear from the deck with my bow and a few elk walking distance from the house and no not in an alfalfa field

Unless you mean shoot form my deck, which is possible, Then yes I do. I have one setup 80 yards behind me, another on on my neighbors property that takes about ten minutes to be in. But requires me to use my Kubota. I can't climb these ridges anymore. (73 with a broken up Body).

Well I got home this morning after working night shift and this guy walked up the driveway kid shot him off the porch. !!!

Well not exactly. More like 70 but also only about 50 from greenhouse he's hanging in now!!! I'm sure by the time he tells his friends it will be a lot farther. We may have to wait for next year before it's a 1000 though

Well I woke up in my bed, drove 130 miles to my buddies ranch. I shot a whitetail and I am headed home. Hunting from home is not the adventure I experienced hunting caribou or dall sheep, but I can drink coffee when I am scouting.
