7mm STW Brotherhood - For those who shoot the 7mm Shooting Times Westerner

Thanks for the input on the 7828,I have found the SSC gave me no trouble with the 160gr Sierra, and pressure @ 81grs.I to had signs with the straight 7828 also @ 81grs.I like this powder for the reasons temp stable and very accurate.........
Bro...... Is 7828ssc the only thing you can get where your at?.........I will gladly send you some H-1000 or RL25 if you cant get any

Sorry guys,I listed my 140 load its 81grs. I got to thinking and went to my book where I should have gone, before spurting my mouth off.My 160 load is 78.5-79grs. depending on which of the three rifles I am shooting it in.I will never leave the stw,but I have to keep three batches of brass one for each rifle as I fire form and neck size for them.........Again sorry for the misprint........PD......you guy were probably thinking "this **** fool is going to blow something up...........[/QUOTE

yeah, the thought had crossed my mind!!!!!

To all the Brethren here, if anyone in the Brotherhood is looking for a nice STW to add to your collection, check out the classifieds here. Our " Brother in Arms " , Butterbean has a real jewel for sale, and to be totally honest, if I had the cash, I would **** sure buy it for my collection. Maybe we can at least keep it in the " Hood".
Good luck Bean, it won't take long!!!

It is very tempting. The gun looks very nice, just wonder how much my wife would kick my butt for that?

It is a rifle that I always wanted too!!!!

I also have a nice 7stw for sale. I will re-post it in the classifieds shortly. It is a Sako 995 and is a very nice rifle. I'd love it if it could be kept in the brotherhood.

Thought I would post a couple of pics of my STW,
McMillan stock, Trued Remy, 26" #5 Broughton Barrel w/ muzzlebrake. This is an old Remy 700 action as the bolt shroud is very short compared to my others. Rifle weighs 8.25 lbs without scope

Truc, that is a smokin' rig !!! Gotta love those Broughton Barrels too! I know you have been working on it for awhile, and it's nice to bring em' home when they are done and paid for. Those McMillan stocks really fit snug, and don't need much bedding if any. I bought a Winchester Sharpshooter in the spring, and it has a BEDDED McMillan stock. Really nice fit, and really nice hunting rifle feel as well. Good job, and congrats!!!!
