Two whitetail deer. Both fell dead to my muzzleloader. Rifle season starts here in Maryland the Saturday after thanksgiving.
Can't wait.
How is everybody in the clan. Been in touch with brother bean, off and on during crazy summer. Haven't had much chance to chat here. Missed it though.

Yes i am and I'm not sure. Always wonder back where we are whybthere aren't more accidents with illegals. I'm glad cuz that would suck but I've seen trail cam pics of some crazy stuff

got a new pet yesterday with the 7stw... head shot at around 300 yards with a 140 ab and rl25 in ww brass- 7stw of course...

GREAT shot, and love your combo, on your load info. Those AB,s work, and to 25 is "go to" as far as most loads. RL22, used to be the deal, but 25 has it in spades. Gotta love the headshots too. NO tracking. No broken bones, DRT.View attachment 110395

Well, my Pops got his mule deer doe with his 7stw yesterday. 150 Blem flat base (from Midway) and a decent dose of rl25 got him a 1 shot kill at 400 yards off 1 knee at 71 years old... Needless to say I'm stoked he got another kill with his 7stw.

I was going to try the 140 ab and reloader 25. What's the starting recipie?

I'm at 82 grains in win brass fired by a 215 with the 140 AB in my stw… Nosler stops at 81 gr. I'd start at 77-78 and work up 'til you hit either 3350-3400 fps or start seeing pressure signs...

I am in the process deciding between a 7 mag and 7 STW. My considerations are the COAL of the 7 STW and getting to the lans in addition to recoil. I will be installing a break and expect the rifle to shoot extremely well. My apologies as I have not read the entire thread.
I am planning to use a stiller predator action and a 3.7 mag box.....will this round come up or does the action need to be modified? and how far off the lands will I be with a 175 elite hunter be with a 3.7 mag box? thanks in advance for your assistance. I have read all I can find on this topic and would appreciate hearing actual experiences. Thank you in advance.
