Doug, back when this awesome thread began, myself, and Butterbean, were using almost the same identical load, which included the Nosler, ballistic silvertip. Moly coated. They used to be a better constructed bullet then now, and I mean to tell you, it were as if lightening struck them. Long dead before they hit the dirt. Then they changed ythe jacket thickness, or guilding, metal strength. Then they would blow.
I went through a period where I was looking for something that would stay together. Long story short, without bullet bashing, settled on the Barnes. If yours shoots the 150, then it will love the 145lrx.
I checked out those Hammers earlier, on their website. Very impressive. Steve is a great guy.
