Here's 4 at 100 yards (1 flier doesn't count)... For size indication, those are the small 6" B.C. Shoot 'n See targets.

Sorry for the crappy picture. I took it through my spotting scope.

I took this load down to our local Rod and gun club for there monthly fun day shot water balloons out to 300 yards which was fun since it was windy. Did pretty well with and I shot our running deer target with Did well with it I can you I found on the running deer when you see the nose come in the scope and touch off you get it in the eyeball. I set my rig up inch and a half high at 100. So I still figuring my drop out past 300

Hey guys love this forum.
Just got my STW out to the Range for the first time.
Its a ruger M77 that started as a 7mm Rem Mag.
It has a 1 in 9.25 twist and a vortex hst 4x16x44 on top.
Goint to put an H&S stock on & maybe a trigger eventually.
Starting to do some load development with some 160 accubonds & 168 bergers.

ruger77 as an stw?? Are you running it as a single shot or have you done work to the action and mag.? I'm interested as I like the ruger action.

My Remington 700 holds 2 in the mag and 1 in the chamber. I was wondering about running 168 gr accu bonds for Deer and Bear. Shots can be close and there could be some over 400 yards. Wondering if that is a good bullet I got IMR7828 and some H870 to try.

Well I settled on a load and after doing some adjustments I think I got a good load with 140 gr Sierra Pro hunters Seated at 3.690 with 75 gr of IMR 7828 Heres 5 off the sand bags and 3 off hand 100
