7mm Rem mag and Berger bullets

how much h1000 with the 168's are people using...thanks

I am running 67.5- H1000 -168 w/ WLR primer @ 3.336 OAL. Velocity runs right at 2977. Extremely accurate, consistent. This setting puts me at .040 off the throat. That is my sweet spot. I have gotten groups at 200 less than .25. This load is a keeper.

Ya that sounds like an awesome combo! I'm currently cutting holes at 100 yards, but just got it doing so. I have not had a chance to put it through my friends chrony yet. I'm really hoping I can get 2800 fps out of it, but that's just me being picky!

260Shooter....
I found anyhting past 68 grains of H1000 created pressure signs. Wonder what hte differnce is, other than the barrel? I am using a stock Rem Sendero. Stuggled to get the case out of the action. I full length size them, but foudn that after the 4th firing of the brass, the base expanded too much. Accuracy was great, but I have had to back off to 67 grains, and it eliminated the stuck cases. I do know that I chronied 2950 consistently with the 68 grain load.... Accuracy was .4-.5 as well.

If it will help, 71grn H1000, CCI 250 primer,168 Berger. Model 700 rem, 26 in barrel. Little over 3025fps. Haven't shown any signs of pressure, good bolt lift an all. Hope this helps!

This is similar to one of my 168 loads. Mine is 70.7 H1000. I run 68.7 grains of H1000 with the 180.

Retumbo is a smoker in the 7mm RM if you can get the ES down. Mine runs the 168's at 3100 and the 180s at 3025 without pressure signs.

Thank's for the info. What grn charge are you using with the Retumbo? Been wanting to try some anyway. Gonna start shooting the 180's out of one of my 7mag's. Think I have a starting point with H-1000, just been hearing good thing's about Retumbo.
