This YouTube dude assuming we're all dumb enough to believe his "information" is rude and uncalled for. If he just got on and called it what it really is, a cool modern/updated design of a 7mm cartridge aimed at heavy for caliber bullets, and show actual comparisons, instead of trying to play us like fools, he might actually get some respect from a knowledgeable firearms community. It's actually somewhat insulting to have people like this guy try to spread their false knowledge these days. He worked the new cartridge up until he essentially blew primers, which means absolutely nothing, giggling about 3100 fps and a blown, leaking primer, saying "we finally hit pressure", and then shows known anemic factory velocities in a 7 mag. 180's at 2900-3000 or more in a 7 mag while hand loading is a known quantity, all done while not killing brass in one fireing.
It's no different than the initial 6.5 creed advertising. Twist facts and information in an attempt to spread false allegations and make it seem like something It's not. Knowledgeable people would strongly just prefer honesty, not just for themselves, but also for people new to the game that may not have the knowledge to know any better. It really is just deceit. Sad. I truly hope this isn't a sign of what is to come, because people like this will ruin the image of the cartridge. I am contemplating a rifle build for my son, and the 6.5 creed is a very good option, but simply based on principle I may go with something that does the same thing with a different name.
