7mm Mag Rechamber

Fishman1978 things used to chamber:

Caliber specific tapered range rod made by Pacific Tool and Gauge. true it in a four jaw independent chuck. true at headstock with the spider moving the range rod. Floating reamer holder that has a morse taper shank that fits into the tailstock. Also use an adjustable reamer stop kit to help get the exact headspace.

It's a proof carbon barrel. The shank looks smaller than my other barrels, I'm not sure who the smith was for this barrel.
Proof barrels are either 1.200 or 1.250 with a 2 1/2 in shank - you can probably get away with cutting 1/4 inch and rechambering depending on which caliber you choose. I would go 7PRC but you need to consult your smith to make sure its within specs

Here's a picture of the shank, it seems pretty small to me, compared to what my PBB or Xcalibers have.

I have a buddy who has chambered and made a few prefits in the past for me. After talking with him this morning, he doesn't want to have to deal with cutting off the tenon threads and trying to pick it back up.

I may just keep the 7RM as is, i was just curious on what my possibilities would be to clean up the chamber into a different cartridge. Thanks all for the responses!
Looks pretty short, like maybe its been cut already - might get away with 7PRC but nothing long mag at this point
