If you can't hit that sweet spot, mag extensions are no big deal. The smith simply takes a small amount from the rear of the receiver where the back of the mag well begins and shortens the bolt stop. Most procedures can give you up to an extra 200/1000 of room in the mag well. That's a lot of expansion room for bullet seating. Hopefully it won't come to that. If you are like me, I would rather take the money that would go to alterations/modificatins and put it in components for loading or a really good scope or something. Anyway, good luck with your load development.
