Good to know
My log book showed 7828 gave me slower velocities per grain weight in my 340 Weatherby vs when I switched over to 7828ssc. They were both shot for years out of the same rifle during the same pre-season conditions. So I wanted to do a side-by-side.Ps, there's no discernable differences in the two powders velocity, just the ssc loads and meters a little better. I'll take ssc any day over the Lincoln logs.
I have heard that, but haven't had the pleasure of trying it. I've asked for it at my dealer, but it comes and goes, kinda like Fairey dust. Next op, I'll grab some if avail.RL 23 is temp stable vs 22
An when you do find it, get a second mortgage to pay for it.I have heard that, but haven't had the pleasure of trying it. I've asked for it at my dealer, but it comes and goes, kinda like Fairey dust. Next op, I'll grab some if avail.
Would you share your 257 load details ? I'm working on trying to find a good load. Its the go-to powder for a 257 WBY Magnum
…or the Lincoln log cut.
This is exactly the same for me with my 7stw, it's awesomeIt's my go to powder for my 7stw, get good velocity, and little tiny groups @ 100yds. You won't be disappointed with it......
If I can find it I would buy a bunch of itI have heard that, but haven't had the pleasure of trying it. I've asked for it at my dealer, but it comes and goes, kinda like Fairey dust. Next op, I'll grab some if avail.
