6mm Creed Load Data

I received the dies and Berger 109 LRHT on Thursday and running what Berger recommended starting powder charge, testing for best seating off the lands, it looks very good so far. I am going to re-test to duplicate the .030 off and .060 off to see if it holds again, may go up and down on both of those depths about .005 and see if they close in some more. Once I settle on seating, I will run it up the powder charges and see what works out the best. The powder I am using is H4350 with CCI LR Primers.

Nice shooting!!

Finished seating depth test, I think I will settle on a .035 jump, by the time I got to .060 the barrel was getting pretty warm, I tried to hold off in between the different depth tests, but really need a barrel cooler or I would be out there for couple of hours. The .060 was duplicating from what was done previously, but for some reason on the last shot I had a flyer. It had put two in one hole. Now, I am going to run it up the ladder I set them up in one grain increments from 36 to 42, using the .035 jump.

Decided on the powder charge, it appears the winner is 41.5gr. H4350 at .035 off Lands, CBTO 2.20. I will load up five and see if they will repeat at 41.5. Darn near put three in one hole.

I believe I have found a nice load for this one at 41.3gr of H4350 five rounds just over a dime and covered by a penny.
