6.5 to .338

i am not a fan of sprays. graphite has been my preferred method for years, but you can try the spray and if things don't work out then you can get powdered graphite at any local auto parts store.
We use a lot of powdered graphite on the farm as well, mostly in planters and such.

When making my 338 Sherman brass I:

280ai graphite necks and wipe off outside
Run it in a 338 die to expand the neck.
Graphite and wipe off outside
Run it in a 35 Whelan die to expand neck.
Anneal
Lube cases and run it into the 338 die about 2/3 sized leaving a false shoulder. (You will have to do this in increments to find the right crush fit until the bolt closes with slight pressure).
Seat bullet to .010" jam with about starting powder load
Size, trim, and chamfer

You may need to trim before running it into either of the following after initially expanding the neck depending on how long it is.
Sounds like your being redundantly repetitive.

If you've shot the 338 Sherman before & already have an accurate load for it, why jam the bullet with a starting load?
Your already ensuring against excessive head space with the false shoulder & slight crush fit.

Just like doing an Ackley Improved.
Slight crush fit on the case. Seat bullet to where it's accurate and load the normal parent case.
