What 338 to build?

Been reading this thread by Swamplord.

If I had a brain in my head....wife says I don't.....I would go custom I just like to get a lil loco now n again and do it different. That being said I don't want to die and will do a ginormous amount of research before committing to something like this.

Since you mention you plan to hunt with it, you might stick with something you can purchase ammo off the shelf.

I built mine and wasn't even sure I could shoot the thing. My neck is an issue so I am recoil sensitive. But between the brake and chamber the recoil is lees then most 308. If you were closer I would say lets meet up and you can try mine. Our range only goes to 1050 for steel and it swings long before you hear the hit.
