New to Berger Bullets and they will really have to step up to the plate to replace my Nosler Partitions or Accubonds.

Thanks for sticking to the Noslers, that will leave more Bergers for the guys who shoot them!

I've shot a lot of Hornady eldx and they shoot well for me, what is everyone's go to 6.5 bullet for tiny groups? I've kicked around the sierras and eldm I know they have a few different weights but have never ventured past the eldx. Targets or game doesn't matter. Pick 1 bullet you would try first no matter what 6.5 caliber you tried because it's a forgiving projectile to work a load up with. 1/8 twist

Every rifle us sn individual.
My rifle shoots the Winchester Expedition 142gr LR Accubond load the best for me as far as factory ammo goes.
ELD-X shot ok but not as good as the Winchester load.
I have way more faith in the Accubond than I do the ELD-X on Elk and such, but that is just me.

I thought the diamond was a Molly coated bullet from the manufacturer and looking at the picture it seems to be

I shoot burger 140 VLD hunting in my 65 284 and Molly coat my bullets myself it is very cheap and very easy I use the wet method you should learn this and Molly coat them for yourself and save some money

How much more powder are you using to achieve the same velocity over non Molly coated Bullets?

Looks like a lot of good choices. A friend of mine played with a savage stealth for a long time and was never satisfied. He tried the 140 Berger in front of h4350 and it was 1 hole groups. Very impressed with his ease of finding a good load with that bullet. Out of curiosity has anyone played with the 130 Sierra gamechanger and if so what we're the results

Only on paper and chronograph, shot good getting 2935fps from a 24", 1-8 twist.

Very impressed with this bullet on paper. I'm hoping it could be an antelope/mule deer/elk bullet all in one. I'm running between 5/8" and 3/4" with ELD-X handloads for 5 shot groups.

They worked great on a couple of antelope last year and I'll use them again this year. I think with a good rib cage lung are shot that they'd do ok for elk. Not sure how a dead on shoulder shot would fare, but then again elk have been taken with a wide array of bullets and wounded with a wide array of bullets too. A 140 grain offering would be nice and I see that they don't offer one in .25 caliber. I may ask my email contact there about those 2.

I will ask my contact. I like the Hornady 117 grain SBT in my .25-06. I've used their 6.5mm 129 grain interlock for years as it works great without being overly destructive as their SSTs are said to be.

My contact at Sierra says there are no solid plans to offer a .25 cal TGK, but he'll keep pushing for one. Maybe next hunting season if we're lucky.
