With a few custom rifles of my own and my personal favorite a ruger 300 wm . The first gun I shot my first big game animal with . I'd have to say a gun I haven't shot 1 time yet . My grandfather's 1907 eddystone 30-06. My dad says it was sporterized by a cousin way back in the day . Grandpa never did shoot shoot anything but paper with it . Grandma didn't like hunting.
This would be it, suppressed 14 with Navy SSR mount, 2.5-10 NXS, Surefire FA762SS, Obermeyer barrel I chambered and contoured from a blank, properly bedded and NM accurized. Stock is a sitiffened GI fiberglass.
With 10 mags already loaded plus 4 cans of surplus M118 LRs with 175 SMKs would be plenty to last me a long time. I've shot it to 1K on paper, and every range in between. I got good dope for it.
Edit: I have metal parts to rebuild it 3X.
Edit2: One can of the LRs have nose rings cut on them for hunting game.
Tough choice. Leaning toward my 280AI. More efficient on powder charge than my 7RM. That's about it. It's extremely accurate and loves the Hammer 131 or the 168 class cup and core.
