Weird. I use it summer and winter. Zero issue in 90+ down to -10
I'm in AZ with extreme heat so 90 is cool out. I think it probably has got something to do when I developed my load for the 156 in cooler weather 50-60 degrees and now that it's 95+ I've got heavy bolt lift and it's just not good. I think if I developed the load in the heat (today) and then it may be stable. But then is the velocity the same at multiple different temps. Anyways…. I'll research it more and figure it out, and then report back.
Gotcha. Yes I have had issues in 95-105 with a winter developed load. We've been shooting 90-95 the past couple weeks and it's fine but I'm running conservative loads. I learned a few things over the years about higher node loads and its not just RL26. My neighbor and I shoot a lot together on his ranch. He runs a creed with 4350. He has had a lot of issues with bolt lift and had a stuck bolt saturday. He has some good loads in the upper end, which work very well in the cooler temps, but sitting in a hot chamber on a 95F day and things aren't going well. He's running about 50 fps faster, which is about .5 grains more than the load would normally run. Me, I've seen the same issue with retumbo and rl126 in my 6.5-284. Noticed it in my creed runningrl26. As a result I've approached my load development a little more cautiously for summer fun. Right now I can run the same load in my both prc's all year. I don't let the ammo sit in a hot chamber and I don't enjoy shooting above 90-95 much. I run 55.5 rl26 with a 156 in adg brass and 210m. If you are higher than that, you might try it and see how it goes. I run 56.5 with the 143 and 144. On the new 18" barrel I also tested 56.5 with a 215M primer. SD was 7 and running 2900. 500-800 it was showing .5.
I don't have any 23 but it's on my radar for sure. I'm going to give h4831sc, h1000, and imr4955 a try. A friend is running 4955 and it's very promising looking. I also built my rig on a long Action so I've got plenty of room to seat them out some. Thinking of about .070 off to start.

That's alright. I live where I do for a reasonThis time of year you won't be shooting much at all in AZ.
. From 6-10 right now it's 60-70. 10-12 it's 70-80. 12-6 is 80-95.
When you opened them up did you find you had to modify the stated BC? Does anyone know if there's a graduated BC on these?
