You are going to get the fun sucker memeMoral of story 6.5 creedmoor sucks. Hopefully i saved everyone 30 more pages
Insults are only fun and games when they go one way right?
That's right gotta get that margin of error...for those that always error.See bad hit still got animal. The needmoor the poor thing would have been in South America still running.
No. Just stating facts. You are the only one that lashes out after getting "hurt".Wow, did someone get their "feelers" hurt….or is it that time of the month! Raging hormones are difficult to control! memtb
Got that right. Creekmore! A slow boat to China.Just ran my StreLok Pro for my 270 and 6.5C out to 1000 yards. The Creed drops 304 inches at 1000y with 1537fps and the 270 drops 284 inches with 1518fps at 1000y. This is with the Hornady Precision Hunter ELD-X ammo and the same length barrel at 24". So very much like for like comparison, not seeing how the Creed is "Superior" out to 1000y. Well the Creed has 3.4 MOA wind correction per 5mph and the 270 3.9 so .4MOA better which does not quite rate "Superior", slightly better would be the proper description. A more apt description would be that the 270 with 200fps more at the muzzle will delivers a lot harder hit out to 300-400 yards then become equalized to 1000yds. Actually makes the Creed look ok when compared to a much storied older cartridge.

Apparently really insecure people shoot the biggest gun they can find.....almost as if they are compensating..
There ya go with your showing your lack of firearms knowledge once again……there are much larger cartridge/calibers than that which I hunt with!
I choose my cartridge based upon over 100 years of excellence in hunting big game world wide!
I chose not to use a marginal cartridge on larger big game just to prove my prowess as a hunter/shooter). I will readily admit (unlike some folks that we know and love) that I am human and can make a bad shot (possibly due to my error or a sudden movement by the animal). However, with the knowledge that sometimes things will go wrong…..I chose to try to be a responsible/ethical hunter, by preferring a cartridge/caliber that offers a much higher probability of taking/killing
the animal if things do go awry!
Oh how I wish that were as perfect as some profess to be! memtb
Any reputable outfitter will recommend a .30 caliber or up for elk. Some may let a .270 or 7m/m slide by, but the majority go with the .30s.People don't realize if you shoot the big guns more they are just as accurate. Maybe not at 100 but i bet i know many people that cant shoot in the .2-.3 at 100 with a 6.5 let a lone 1000. I can with big guns but i also shoot 2-300 rounds a week out of lapuas on up too 37xc. If 6.5 had any nuts behind it youd see people carrying them in africa there is the select few wing nuts carrying them in alaska. Center mass of a bullet kills and how far it goes through. But mostly that shock wave of impact. People thar argue 6.5 even 7mm kill elk just fine, either they never killed a elk or got lucky a few times. Plus out here in west shooting in canyons big bullets dont get pushed as much.
Let's just face the facts, you can show all the proof in the world that "x" cartridge is completely capable, but "certain" folks that live by hearsay and wives tales will never except the proof as proof.
