6.5 creedmoor FPS in the real world

2730 fps with 42 grains of H4350 from 26" Bartlein with 140 VLDs.....I get 2800 with 43.5 grains but loose a little accuracy so I've settled on 42 grains where it shoots .25 MOA. H4350 is plentiful around here in local gun shops and shooting ranges.

2875 with the 143 eld-x and 42grains of rl-17 with a 26in Criterion barrel. I also have a good load with the 140 eld-m with 42.5 grains of rl-17 that I have not put over the chrono but I'll post my results

140 H-VLD
41.5 gr. H-4350
26" factory Savage barrel
2840 fps - verified drops to 1k

I run 42.5 H4350 with a 140 vld in a 26" barrel for 2840 fps
Also run 41.5 H4350 with a 140 vld in a 22" barrel for 2680 fps
Magnetospeed

There isn't much to gain with barrel length over 24 inches in 6.5 CM

Check this out on the internet, 6.5 Creedmoor-Effect of Barrel Length on Velocity

RL 26 is a new Alliant powder that is giving screaming performance in .260 remington and other calibers. Using similar loads to h4350 people are getting an increase 150-200fps without any pressure signs in several calibers.

IF I get time I'll try some this week in the .260 with the Peregrine 125gr (monometal) and maybe try some with the 143gr Eld-X.

Wild,

Did you ever get a chance to try out RL 26 powder? Anybody tried out RL 26 in the 6.5 creedmoor?

Is that H-4350 stuff that powder that falls outa unicorns a$$es when they are eating sasquatch poop? Been looking 6 months, been to 30+ stores and some online. Superperformance it is for now.. If I ever see any H-4350 I will probably have a heart attack and die before I can load it, or maybe just go win the Powerball lol.

20" Barrel 1:8 Twist
Hornady 143 ELDX Boxed Ammo 2550 FPS
Barnes 140 VLDH 2560 FPS
Alco 130 RB AL VLD 2610 FPS

I can load hotter/faster but the accuracy suffers.
