Gas guns are tough on brass for sure , that being said , it depends how you handload your ammo.
I have run both srp and lrp brass lapua lrp and peterson srp to be exact .
the premium brass last longer in a gasser ,period
srp brass hold primer pockets tighter longer , but there is a .3 grain reduction in powder charge between the lapua lrp and peterson srp brass to acheive same accuracy grps
i have not done a water volume test between the two.
