My rig got some new mudders. The old 33" Pro Comps are pretty tired. XJ Cherokee 4.0 HO 5.5" short arm lift. A friend helped me build this from three jeeps.

It's bigger than I thought. I've never been a Jeep guy but have friends that are, also Ford, Dodge, Toyota. Nobody has a Nissan right now that I can think of. They got a bad rap years ago here. Guys would pull the 304 and 6 cylinder engines put in a built 390 or 401, usually built atleast some and lift them to the point that I had to get a running start to get in, sometimes it didn't work. Then they would get it sideways on an incline and well you know from there. They were quick I must admit.

This is my rig.
With the back seat always folded down…
It stays loaded with coyote, dove, deer hunting gear along with my long range shooting gear.

Kinda messy but it's all there. 😍

I like lifted rigs. But there is a time and purpose for stock rigs. They tend to break down less. They get better fuel mileage which is important to me. And set up right they can fit most of my hunting/ fishing/ scouting needs. Don't underestimate a stock rig with good tires and a knowledgeable driver.

My Cherokee has a small lift with light mud tires and can get me in more places than my F-250 on any given day.

Just depends on if the snow is deep or deep deep!

Square body 3/4 ton with built 383, 4speed, 4" lift, locked front and rear and 35s. If it gets super deep lose the chains and drop the tires down to 6lbs and crawl.
