I think they taste great but it depends like other animals , age , diet, shot placement , and carrig for your animal in the field and final processing.I am about to eat some in a few minutes want pics ?

Aoudad aren't particularly hard to kill. I killed 4 with a 120 gr. Barnes TTSX out of a 7-30 Waters and a 21" barrel. The trick is that you have to hit the vitals, and the vitals are up between the shoulder blades.

The best stew I've eaten in my life was aoudad. I've never shot one that didn't taste good. I rate it better than deer meat.

Aoudad are tasty. Big ram might be chewy so cook accordingly.
