375 RUM Build

I went a bit different route than the rest of you I have a 21" barrel on my Rem 700 LSS in 375RUM I load 260gr Accubonds @ 3020fps, 300gr @ 2800fps and 350gr TTSX @ 2550fps with RL17.

My rifle is set up for up close and personal defense with the 350gr loads when I have my XS Sights backup tall ghost ring sight installed.

When I have my VX3 4.5-14x40mm B&C scope installed the 260gr are my out to 600 yard combo.

I don't shoot it further due to not having the time to practice distances further than 600 yards.

What 300 grain bullet do you use?

Several = Gamekings - Partitions - A-Frames I shot my B&C 24 3/16" interior BC, Canada grizzly with a 300gr Partition @ 2800fps.

I also shoot 350gr Woodlieghs and North Fork

I had Shawn at Defensive Edge build a 375 RUM +P with a 27" #7 Benchmark Barrel a few years back.

Rem 700 action Wyatt's center feed box w/ Remington floor plate . I can seat 350gr SMK's .005" off, OAL 4.1" and fit in the magazine.

The 329gr Hammer Hunter it what I'm playing with now. Perfect for the 375RUM especially with the +P chambering. First load I tried was sub moa.

96gr RL 26 329gr Hammer 2790fps
This is just coasting. Not even close to pressure. Lot of case capacity still even with the longer all copper bullet.

I have no doubt I could run these Hammer's to beyond 2850fps before seeing high pressure signs. Haven't had a chance to shoot them beyond 300 yards, but they seem to be every bit as accurate at the 350 SMK. I'm thinking a heavy dose of H1000, Retumbo or N570 behind these Hammers with produce some amazing #'s. I'll be trying soon!

This was the answer I was looking for, if you don't mind could you send me the link to the magazine you used to make a 4.100 fit?

Dude, that thing, is.....amazing !!

Amazing guns guys!
Anyone shot their 375 RUM at 2000 yards?
Which ELR bullet would be the best for long range target shooting in the 375 RUM?
How about the freebore reamer specs?
The over the counter reamer I was looking at had .175" freebore, if I remember correct.
Thanks

I would also like to know the answer to that question

Does anyone here have any experience with the 281 grain Hammer Hunters? They have a pretty good BC and seem to carry a rock solid reputation for other calibers
