Well, that settles that! Thanks I used them in British Columbia and Alberta a bit out of a 375 RUM, pushed them hard too. Never recovered one. Thanks for the information. I just loaded 50 rounds of the accubonds. Another 100 in the am. Thanks again

What did the gun weigh without scope? Thanks

Mine weights 8 pounds 6 ounces with a Swarovski Z6 2-12, 300 yards is nothing but a thing with this rifle. My farthest shot was on a big 6x6 bull in ID at 550ish, 2 shots 2 hits, never got out of his bed.

That's really helpful, how are you sighted? I sight everything in 3" high at 100. Should be on at 200-225? I'll have to verify. So, the gun is maybe 7 1/4lbs bare rifle? What bullets u running?

I'm sighted at 200, 3 shot below at 200 with 72 grains of Varget and the LRX

The remington catalogue says they weighed 6-7/8 pounds.

Depends on where I'm at, for 300 7" pretty much has me covered.

I agree with you on a 2 bear limit vs. 1 bear limit. I've hunted Alberta twice and taken three bears. I prefer spot and stalk, and that's what I did in Alberta with the 2 bear limit. No baiting was allowed due to the presence of grizzlies. I had a blast and would love to spot and stalk hunt them again if I'm ever able.

No baiting? You must have been way up there? Canada is incredible, I'm going back again in May….same brand of recurve…just a different one…I've got several from the same maker
