338 Lapua vs 300 Norma

I use the 4 port Muscle Brake and am very impressed.

I started with a Muscle Brake and changed it to a Pain Killer. Went from tough to shoot to I will let any kid or Lady shoot it. I can free recoil my rifle now. I let a 75lb kid shoot his 1st deer with it at 450y running our 285g Hammer Hunter at 3150fps.

That particular rifle I went with a medium PK turned down to min dia. Usually I would have gone with a small PK but had to go this route because of the previous threading of initial brake. We just finished a rifle for a customer on the same reamer but about 3lbs lighter and it has the small PK. Hasn't been to the range yet but I am sure it will be great. A couple months ago we shipped an 8mm on the same reamer to a customer with the small PK and it is exceptional.

I have the small pain killer on my 300AX kicks like my youth model 243 shooting 80's. I had a 4 port DE brake on my 338 but later switched over to a T3 Terminator. My buddies Tac50 with 750's was more pleasant to shoot before I made the switch.
