I like the fact that if, for some strange reason, you misplaced your AX ammo you can still fire factory 338 lapua through it with decent accuracy.
My AX is pistol based so my muzzle velocity doesn't have a dog in the speed fight.

Ya a pistol would be crazy. But as it stands know you only have one option. Unless you can wait that long. Dream rifle yes worth the wait but man if you can match the performance with a rifle you can buy today or a few weeks it's hard to say no.

In regards to the "+P" discussion...it is actually no more then a "bore rider" throat that benchrest guys have been doing for a long long time. Anyone will and can make a reamer with the "+P" modification...tried a few, won't be doing anymore anytime soon.
