308 with Ramshot Big Game

Hey all, I was looking at loading up some 308 hunting loads for a friends Model 70. I was looking at the Nosler manual and noticed Big Game was listed with a Max of 52.5 grains with a 168gr bullet.

When running the load through GRT it came back as roughly 85k PSI for 50.5gr of Big Game and a 168gr TMK. How could this moderate load from the book be that high pressure according to GRT? anyone have any experience with a similar load?

case capacity per nosler's input. knowing what nosler used (probably their brass h2o capacity) when they did quick load results. i find this the same when using ql also from other published load data.

i haven't loaded any 7-08rem or 308win yet with either hunter or big game, so no info there.

i've foung (according to ql) that some published data for my 264wm hit 80k at times. throat length can make a difference on pressures (someone might say different), but i've checked using the same ammo w/same lot numbers in multiple firearms to reach that conclusion.
