Hello, I was wondering what you all thought about this bullet in a 308, it might be the GameChanger now, supposed to be the same I think. Shots 200 250 yards and closer ,out of a Tikka . I've also have Hornady 150gr btsp. What do you think. Thanks

If it's accurate I'd have to think it would do in any deer whether WT or Mule deer. That said, the 150gr Hornady would also be a solid choice, take the best shooting bullet and you'll be golden.
Morning, I know your right there, which one will have the most meat damage? I've reloaded a many of years and never had much trouble getting the 308 to group . These are two bullets I've never tried before

The Game King and GameChanger are different bullets. The GameKing will be boat tail hollow point and the Game Changer will be a polymer tipped bullet. I haven't used either bullet but I'd expect the tipped bullet to have most expansion. Either bullet would work personally I'd stay off the shoulder for a broadside double lung shot. At 250 yards and closer I'd probably go with the GameKing.

This is a hollow point, not the Matchking

I have shot quite a few deer with that bullet. The HPBT is actually quite a bit tougher (opens slower) then the lead tipped version. I shot VA, NC, and MN deer with it from 110 to 250 pounds and it provided baseball sized exits and a good wound channel. I was shooting them through a 300Wby. They will be perfect from your .308 to 300 yards.

There are some on here that have use MatchKings to take white tails. But Sierra doesn't recommend it. Most that do use MatchKings will clear the tips to make sure they expand. But just stick with either the GameKing or GameChanger, I'm sure either will work. Really in a 308 win just about any cup and core bullet at your described range will work. Just choose the bullet that shoots the best and do a double lung/ heart shot.
