I run super performance and 165 grain pills . Have used them on all 3 never past 350yards

I forgot about superformace. it seemed to work really good with 178gr ELDX's was 2990fos with 20" barrel

Barnes TTSX 168's at 3125 FPS. Mag Primer and one of the 4350 powders. This load has taken 8 or 9 elk for me and my friends. Have recovered one bullet and that was on a large 6X6 bull wounded by one of our group shooting a 338 Lapua. MINE was a bad angle shot and hit just in front of the near side ham and went diagonal thru the body (over 24") and lodged in the opposite front shoulder socket.

The 150 grain Barnes TTSX is.more than suitable for elk and moose out of a 300wsm
