300 Win Mag ELD-X load testing?

33-22 is wayyyy to much margin of error for me. They aren't even close on the burn chart. I will run my old standby first. H1000. If it doesn't pan out I will try 22 or something else. I don't have the weather in VA as bad as you guys up north.

Excellent powder H1000 for 200gr to 230gr in the 300 Win

I also use H1000 in my 338 Lapua with 300gr Berger Elites

RL 26 should also be a excellent powder in both cartridges and especially the 338 RUM and Lapua with 250 Bergers Elite.

See I tried H1000 with the ELDX 200gr and my gun didn't like them, granted I was only shooting 100yrds and I feel a 200yrd zero would've been more indicative of how the rounds really would fly out at distance.

I may revisit H1000 here shortly with the 178gr ELDM see how it likes it.

another option for more speed and temp stability, the IMR8133. in the H1000/Retumbo ballpark but with excellent temp stability and added copper fighter. I'll be using it in my 300WM with the 200gr ELD-X and 338RUM with 300gr bergers

Ok so through all the subliminal messages and hints I have acquired some 200gr AB and 208gr blems from midsouth (ELD-M Blems) cant see any issues, weights are consistent, not as shiney.

Obtained Ideas for loads from this Forum Last year after my families Christmas present to me the year before, we worked up awesome accurate Loads with RL22 69.5 Grains, 200 Grain ELD-X, Federal Cases, CCI Magnum Primers Bullet seated .004 off lands for Browning X-Bolt 300 Win Mag. Results were phenomenal for this rifle.

Also recommend you read up on proper barrel break in for accuracy on new weapon to formulate your own opinions.

3115 FPS were derived from 200 Yard Zero and calculating groups at different yards for rise and or drop data points to get precise average FPS. My son Then plotted a handy Triggernometry charts for the field!

Needless to say my Limited Entry Elk Hunt was very successful this year, with all my boys help as pack mules, spotters and rangers. Son doped the scope for wind and distance and all I had to do was pull the trigger.

Shot achieved 1032 yards much practice and load work ups year prior to hunt.
