You'd have to call TBAC to verify for a 300 Norma, but the 338 Ultra is rated for a 16" 338 Lapua.

All I want for Christmas is a 22" 300 norma improved in a manners LRH/eh1 with a cheek piece that I can put a 338 can and NF NXS 5-22x50 and be just under 10 pounds.

Mine is under 9# and it's got a 26" barrel. You could use similar components with a shorter barrel and have a handy rifle! Ty and I discussed that but for me 26" is fine as long as the weight comes in.

My Nomad LT is rated for 12" up to a 300 RUM, it's one of the quietest 30 cans out there.
I'll be running it on a 20" 300 NM 40' improved

The Dominus is setup to run on an AR platform as well which is why it's not set up to handle the big pressure pulse of the magnums. The ultra 7, very similar, handles the magnums much better and is rated a lot better.

I have an Ultra 7 and honestly I like my ultra 9 way better.. unless you go up to the magnus it simply cant be beat .. and now with their tubeless design there Isn't a stronger can out there!

What profile are y'all starting with to be in the same weight range as the heavier contour carbons? 9-10lb all up rifle like some posted here.
