I had almost forgot about all my AR's...even though one is 7.62x39...IMO the 5.56 is worthless in the hunting woods.

But the 6.5 Grendel has now put my AR's back in the woods and not in the safe!

I still own one 5.56, but it is in CQC mode...incase we get over run by zombies or Democrats!
 
For practice and plinking the 5.56 will be significantly cheaper than the rest, but for functionality, the .300 BLK will be superior. Just cut down and formed about 150 of them last night. Running them in the sonic cleaner now. Gonna test some subsonic loads with Berger 210's and Alliant PowerPro 300-MP powder.
