Completely agree here. I was originally looking to run 570 but after talking with my smith, who was running it in a 30Nos he was testing, found out it decreases your barrel life quicker than H1000. I have some more testing to do but will post up my results when I get it all done, just keep in mind you have a longer freebore than I do.I'll share what I've learned. CCI 250 primer as Sherm said for sure. And I would be using the Berger 215's. Until you have 150 or so rounds down the barrel you will see things change. Fired brass will be different than new brass. I would use H1000 before I used N570, and it will be slightly slower. You can chase speed with 570, and I've done it, and you will see the effects in the barrel's throat over time. The 30 is my favorite big game caliber, but it requires a serious approach to managing barrel life. Not as much as a 28, but you have to be careful. Ladder testing is your tool on this caliber. You will likely find an accuracy node in the 3050 range and at 3100, the upper node is usually smaller and not as flexible. There is zero real world difference between the two speeds. Ryan Furman and Alex Wheeler are great sources of data on ladder testing with the 30. Keep the carbon from building up in the throat. It's a great cartridge in my opinion.
I'm not sure what your rifle specs are but pounding five plus rounds out of magnum builds some pretty good heat on a barrel if there isn't time to cool between shots. I stick with 3 round groups through testing on my magnums. That's just how I prefer to do it but YMMV.
