30-06 open desert elk hunt

Been shooting a 06 for a very long time. Hornady 165 gr BTSP to around 350-400 yards for elk. Have taken more deer and elk with that bullet and the 150 gr SP then any other. There are probably better bullets out there today but I know these bullets work. If it ain't broke don't fix it.
