I have had very good performance with RL 22 and both the 140 gr AB and the 160 gr AB.
I also have had good performance with IMR 4831. I use GM215M primers.

J you are right on , but after looking at the nosler manal the IMR 7828 with one more grain than 22 will up your vel about 30 fps and I think at lower pressure due to the slow burning rate of 7828.
but the 22 may be more accurate one just has to try.. my 22 velocities are at 3450 elevation therefore where you live will be a bit different.
T Two fish-- about imr4831 it is at leat 3 grain faster in a 30/06 case. and it should have never been put on the market with this number.. However the orange can means something HOT. it does work well in the 284 winchester.

56.2 gr IMR-4166, Nosler brass, 3.34", 140 gr Nos Accubond moly coated or 140 gr Nos Bal Tip moly coated, 3100 fps.
