600 BP is right on. It is one of our favorite go to rifles for deer and antelope. Accuracy is outstanding with the 100 grain ttsx at near 3800 fps. My son has shot 2.5" groups at 600 yards with it. We have taken several antelope and deer in the 500-600 yard range and the most important thing is when you hit them with the 257 weatherby they go down quick.
I know this conversation is a week or so old but I was wondering what load is it you use to get those groups at such a distance?
I just purchased a 257 and was going to use that bullet.
Thanks for your input.
