Anxious to know what the Smith finds
He said they had used that reamer a few times and they had no issue. He said the benchmark barrel may be off

Man, I hate to spend money on a fine rifle and crap happens but if you do it a lot it does happen! And you think about the time and effort that could be used on other projects.
Sometimes I think I should have gotten a 25-06 or a 270 even. Lol

Hope they remedy the issue.
Very surprised you got such low numbers. My standard 25-06's, one with 24" barrel gets 3226fps from a 115 Partition, and the one other gets 3248fps from a 26" barrel with a 115g Berger. I don't shoot my Kimber very often. Standard velocity with a 100g in my rifles is 3350fps+.
I wonder if the bore is super tight?

Do you have the reamer print for the 25-06 ai reamer you used?
Sorry I do not…. It's a preffered prefit barrel.
Fotis, What brand of brass are you using?
