230 Bergers or 230 ATips?

Thanks for the reply! What powder and barrel length/twist, and brass are you using? I'm hoping to get 3000fps or more

You should have no issues getting the 230 berger and RUM combo to 3k. Ive ran the 30 nosler to 3040 in a ladder test which showed the faintest of pressure signs with H1K in a 26 inch tube.

At 2950 its producing great accuracy and should be a tad easier on the barrel.

What jump are you guys using on the atips? This is a good question as the two bullets have very similar profiles and similar bto numbers. I killed my bull last year using 230 hybrids from a 300 norma improved and it worked well. I've wanted to try the a tips as I have a couple hundred.
