Not yet he did state in one of the threads he was working on one. I'm not a huge fan of self timing but I see the draw. I just like the look of a timed brake. I've used crush washer also but again they don't look that good.
I prefer the Insite brakes. Performance is akin to the APA, Smaller taper just looks better in my opinion.

A 3 port self timing lil beast brake from MBM may be a good option. I have the 1 piece on my 13 lb .260 AI, can watch the aftermath of prairie dog impacts at 50 yards at 20x, doesn't really move. Can watch bullets impact from about 150 yards and farther.
Also, they are significantly cheaper than the other ones mentioned. I also have a 5 port 1 piece on my 9 lb .338 Norma Magnum, shooting 300 Bergers recoil is about like a 10lb .308. Less than my compact 8lb .308 for sure.

Ross Schuler 3/4 port beast type brake. 37.00 shipped and he turns it to your muzzle contour. I have one on my 338 Lapua improved. Shoots like my 308. Also have two others on smaller bore guns and they are very very effective. Also very very affordable.
How do I go about finding one of these?
To clarify, these aren't a Beast type brake. If they are being sold to you as such it's a lie. Ross and I use to be friends and make similar brakes. My ported brakes are close in design to the ones he sells but made to way better tolerances and with better material. I started making my own brakes because I couldn't get brakes made to my tolerances from several different shops including the shop Ross uses. They do not reduce the same recoil as my Beast brakes. In several of my videos I compare the two different designs.

As I said, I own several of his. I do own one of your brakes and it's every bit as good a brake and no offense but I cannot tell any difference in tolerance or brake performance. The only thing I can tell different is cost. I will say that I'd have preferred your 5 port Beast brake for my big bores. I did not find your site until after I purchased the 4 Port for my rifle. I'll use your 5 port Beast for my next 375 CT build.

Cody, have you ever tried a slab brake? I'm just curious as I gave up on the round style finding the painkiller slab style to be better at recoil reduction. But I have not shot a beast break. They look to work off the same concept of angle port. I'm theory the slab should work better with more surface area or same surface area but shorter. That's kinda what I've gathered looking at the difference in them. I personally like the look of the slab style better which is the only reason I really have not tried the a beast. Same reason I don't like self timing. Nothing wrong with either just becomes preference. In fact I have thought about trying a beast because recoil is the top priority followed by looks. Only time I used round was when I was trying to cut weight and only found round titanium ones and almost bought the ti beast. Then perfect timing came along and the salmon river brake came.

I put a three port MBM on my 22" Dasher. Works and looks great. Great customer service and went out of his way to help me out. On another note. How do you like the Helix 6 barrel? Got a 25-284 built with one that is just finished. Anxious to try it out.

I personally have not tried one, but if you go to youtube, Nathan actually compares his brakes against many other popular brakes (including the painkiller) on a sled, with several different rifles from 6.5's up to big bores, and his beast brake outperforms the painkiller, and pretty much any other compareable brake in recoil reduction. The PK brake still does an absolute fantastic job, and it is not outperformed by a huge margin by any means, but if you are splitting hairs, the beast wins. When selecting the most efficient brake possible for my light .338 nm, I did a lot of reasearch and watched many different videos of side by side comparisons, I didn't want an expensive gun that was painful to shoot. My research consisted of the Terminator series brakes, the APS Painkiller, the Bastard brakes, the PVA brakes, Ross's brakes, the Christensen Arms side port TI brake they put on their big guns, and a couple other ones I don't recall that were recommended to me. With every direct comparison I could find, the beast brakes always came out on top. So, I went with them, and I am happy. The percussion is significant, but that has never bothered me, and the recoil reduction is outstanding. Like I said, my 8ish lb unbraked .308 shooting 168's has more felt recoil. Could be partially due to the stock design, a sporter stock on the .308 vs a Manners EH-1 on my .338, but it is still less.
